Mr. Ahmed Abdul Latif Al-Ateeqi, Chief Executive Officer of Al Mawashi Company, welcomed a delegation from the Syrian-Kuwaiti Business Council, headed by Mr. Yasser AlRakd, Chairman of the Council, at the company’s headquarters. The visit aims to develop trade and economic relations, strengthen shared food security, and enhance the strategic partnership between Al Mawashi Company and the Syrian Arab Republic.

During the meeting, Mr. Yasser AlRakd emphasized the desire to establish channels of communication and mutual understanding, explore opportunities for cooperation, and pursue various projects and investments that would contribute to supporting and advancing economic development in the coming period.

For his part, Mr. Ahmed Abdul Latif Al-Ateeqi emphasized Al Mawashi Company’s commitment to strengthening bilateral ties, expanding areas of cooperation, and exploring opportunities for mutual investment in the food security sector. This includes diversifying sources of imported live sheep and cattle to include the Syrian Arab Republic, whose livestock breeds are distinguished by their high quality.

Both sides emphasized the importance of coordination to hold future high-level meetings aimed at defining objectives and reaching practical and effective decisions.
